Why Writing for Caregivers?
The role of the caregiver is profoundly influential in shaping the well-being of families and communities alike. Caregiving is also very hard, and often unseen work, demanding immense physical and emotional energy that can lead to burn out.
Workshops invites caregivers to gather in a safe setting to share in their collective experience. Through engaging in short readings, insightful writing prompts, and supportive sharing sessions, participants uncover the importance of their individual narratives. Caregivers leave the session with a renewed sense of recognition, support and agency over their own healing.
